My other reasons are as follows:
1) I actually did not like the tablet. It was a pain to have to force myself to sit down and use it. I never really figured it out and I never really wanted to.
2) They came out with the Intuos4 immediately after I acquired the Intuos3. Go figure.
Anyway, I realize that I sound like a spoiled brat for turning around and getting rid of it (I sold it to a really nice guy, by the way, who I'm sure will make great use of it), but it just wasn't something I wanted to leave sitting around collecting dust. Albeit, it is a beautiful piece of equipment and I would have loved to stare at it for months, take a stab at getting into it again, and then give up all over again. Repeatedly.
Aaaaand that is my justification for selling it. Also I like to make real art. With substantial materials. With real emotion. Fuck logic and reason and science and electronics. It all lead to John Stuart Mill's mental crisis. ...Says the chemistry major.

I don't see the glass as half full or half empty.
